Località Podere Cianella, 22
58020 Scarlino (GR)
GPS Coordinates :
From the north:
From Milan, take the highway A1 for 101 kilometres to the A15 Parma towards La Spezia. After 100 km continue along the A15 to the A12 exit towards Livorno and Rosignano Marittimo, where you exit the motorway transferring to the new “Superstrada Aurelia” (dual carriageway but no longer classified as a motorway). You leave the Aurelia dual carriageway at the Scarlino exit at km 223.
From the exit turn left towards Scarlino, going straight on at the roundabout and ignoring the signs for Scarlino Scalo. This will take you along a long, straight road to a cross-roads where you continue straight on for Scarlino (km.3).
At the first sharp bend to the left you will see a B&B called Madonna del Poggio, the second bend is to the right with a traffic mirror beside the road. Immediately after that bend turn left along a small asphalted road going downhill.
Continue until you pass a fine house at the point where the road takes a wide turn to the right.
Immediately after this bend take the first turning to the left along an unmade road going through the woods. Continue along this road until you leave the woods and see the outline of La Cianella at the top of the hill.
Keep straight on to the entrance to the property and the final uphill stretch is along an asphalted drive where you will see signs for the Reception to the right and for Parking to the left.
From the South:
Take the highway A12 from Rome leaving it at the end – Tarquinia exit. From this exit take the “SS Aurelia” dual carriageway. Continue until you reach km 213, taking the Gavorrano Scalo Exit to the right.
Turn left immediately after the exit, taking the first right at the roundabout. Cross over the bridge and take the old “SS Aurelia” going north/Follonica. Take the second turning to the left signed for Bagno di Gavorrano/Scarlino/Punta Ala.
Drive through the small town of Bagno di Gavorrano, going straight on through the traffic lights and continuing for about 3 km until reaching a crossroads where you turn left towards Scarlino (km.3).
From this point you should follow the instructions given above for those travelling from the north.
